Paul starts this letter by outlining several aspects of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He begins by explaining what being ‘in Christ’ means. Then he gives a short Gospel summary in chapter 2:1-10. Paul is also keen to explain how the gospel breaks down racial barriers and brings the nations together into one family in the church.
