Paul is aware of tensions between the Jewish Christians and the Gentile Christians in the church in Rome and some of the Gentiles questioning the importance of the Jews at that time. A group of forty men plotted to assassin Paul but his nephew heard and went to Paul and the Roman commander who quickly organised a large protection party to escort him to Caesarea to go Governor Felix because Paul was a Roman citizen and has to have a fair trial.
