Jesus continues to answer the disciples' questions and predicts what will happen at the end of time when he will come again in power and glory.

Mentioned in the last episode, the cursed fig tree dies by the next day causing Peter to comment. Jesus uses the event to teach about prayer. Prayers to move the obstacles to the Kingdom of God are encouraged.

For the second time, Jesus disrupts the marketeering in the Temple. He challenges the Jewish authorities and is moving forward the process of confrontation which will lead to His death. 

Jesus acknowledges the fragility of life and explains the need to believe now. The parable seems to refer to 3 years of his ministry and the need for the nation of Israel to believe.

Andrew, Simon and unnamed disciple transfer allegiance from John to Jesus. Simon is given name of Peter, the rock. Jesus returns to Galilee where Philip and Nathanael are called. They are spiritual seekers which we can be too.
