Jesus continues to answer the disciples' questions and predicts what will happen at the end of time when he will come again in power and glory.

In response to a question from Pharisees, Jesus teaches about the Kingdom of God. His first coming was the inauguration and his second coming would bring it to fulfilment.

Jesus concludes the teaching in this chapter by making it clear people will be divided by belief in Him, or not. It will not be an easy life for Christians.

Jesus repeats much of his teaching about dealing with evil and disbelief in this new context. There is no neutral ground: you are either for Jesus or against him.

Jesus warned against the teaching of the Pharisees, Sadducees and Herodians. They deny his Messiahship and were a bad influence permeating the nation - just like yeast.
