Jesus prays for himself, for the disciples that are with him and then for all those who believe through those disciples.

Jesus takes the Passover meal and invests new meaning in the wine and the bread. The wine symbolises his blood and the bread his body.

A woman is brought to Jesus by those trying to trick him into making a false move. He challenges the person without sin to throw the first stone and they leave. He shows grace by forgiving the woman but does not condone the sin.

Water used for ritual washing is part of the Feast of Tabernacles. Jesus refers to Holy Spirit as living water and speaks of spiritual thirst.

Three different perspectives are given of Jesus in Galilee. Isaiah's prophecy, the Kingdom of God and the power of the Spirit are all given consideration.

At a village wedding in Cana the wine runs out. Jesus did not want to go public at that time but performs the miracle of water to wine, described by John as a sign. Marriage is endorsed. Teaching is given on alcohol.
